Enrollment Details

*Note: Transfer students must provide a transcript or proof of hours from another eligible Cosmetology or Esthetician program in addition to the above requirements, pay a transfer fee and take an entrance exam to determine skill level.

At Esteem Academy of Beauty we operate on an open enrollment basis. New classes begin approximately every 10 weeks, with dates subject to change based on enrollment and facility circumstances. If you’re ready to start your beauty school education, get in touch to see when you can get started!

Requirements for Application

Our applicants are required to meet one of the following criteria:

• Complete an interview with an Esteem Academy of Beauty representative.
• Display a genuine desire, readiness, and commitment to successfully complete the academic program for which admission is requested.
• Provide evidence of completion of one of the following educational requirements:
  • Have successfully completed high school or its equivalent as evidenced by any of the items on the following non-exhaustive list: copy of diploma, copy of GED certificate, or copy of a transcript showing high school completion
  • Have evidence of completion of home schooling that state law treats as a home or private school.
• Provide a copy of state or US government issued photo identification.
• Complete the enrollment documentation.
• Pay the required $50 application fee.

*Should an enrolling student provide a foreign high school diploma, the student must obtain an English translation of the document along with confirmation that the education received is equivalent to a U.S. high school diploma. This documentation must come from an outside agency and it is the student’s responsibility to prove a translated diploma.

Esteem Academy reserves the right to deny admission to any applicant who Esteem, on the basis of statements and conduct during the admission process, determines to not be qualified to succeed in (or benefit from) the academic program for which admission is requested. Prospective students interested in enrolling at Esteem Academy with a drug-related or misdemeanor conviction on their record must complete a second interview with the Operations Director or Owner, who may determine whether or not the student is qualified to enroll. Prospective students interested in enrolling at Esteem Academy who have been convicted of a crime involving violence, prostitution, harassment or any other sexual offense, a crime involving any type of larceny, a crime involving any federal, state law or regulation relating to the cosmetology field or a substantially similar occupation will not be qualified to enroll at the school.

Esteem Academy does not accept Ability-to-Benefit students. All courses at Esteem Academy are taught in English only.
